Ok, I know there's some math nerd joke that I'm completely missing there... but regardless, I'd totally buy that shirt if it weren't lime green...
So here's the story behind the math nerd joke (read the first 6 or so paragraphs):
Godel's incompleteness theorem
Essentially, a statement like the one on that shirt (a "Godel statement") was used to prove a very famous theorem about incompleteness...
Sigh. Well, it's funny to me at least. :)
