Hey Katie! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I was thrilled to see one of my compatriots put Nimrod from the Enigma Variations on his mix, alongside J. J. Johnson's version of Autumn Leaves. I considered doing a jazz standards meet orchestral works mix, but didn't have the guts (I wanted to pair similar works - Tchaik's Nutcracker with Ellington's, April in Paris with Vivaldi's Spring, The Lady is a Tramp with Habanera from Carmen, etc.). Maybe next year! PS I think I'll be in East Lansing early this summer. Will you be around?

You forgot one (well, ok, it's not so much a nerd thing as an "it's sad because it's true" thing):
Iraq is now longer than WWII
I love the evolution article. Someone at the Onion obviously knows biology!
